is there any way to make money with wordpress

    I have recently created a wordpress blog and I was expecting that I was going to be able to make money with it via paid links or adsense. But right now I ran across this http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/12/08/adsense/ . So is there any way to make money with wordpres? can you use affiliate programs like amazon for text links?

    That's only if you're using free wordpress for hosting otherwise you can use adsense.
