I run a website with over 2500 pages on the website alone. Is there anyway to get Google to index all 2500 pages? Currently it only has 999. I recently changed all my title tags, so I'd like Google to re-index everything. Other than using a Google Sitemap, and doing that [which I have now done, is there any other way?
Hi there Interpage linking from your already indexed pages will work as will submitting a sitemap to Google. https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/navigation.html Clint
Exotic You'll have to submit the sitemap to Google, and they will have you add a file to your server / webpages for them to verify. If you don't do it that way it won't work properly. Peace
Right get links from a 3rd party site that google will need to crawl and crawl all that sites links if it is not a trusted site itself. (which could take months to update) Links can be good or bad... While a Google Sitemap is known to be from a trusted source to a trusted source. Much shorter method is the sitemap. You could follow this up with some quality one way links from directories. Recips will be a waste as you'll need to give the deep links to the other site and manage that. A few quality links will do more good than a truckload of poor links.
Add links to the site's pages from the bottom of the page and link to sitemaps from all pages. regards jeet
You might try buying a sitewide link or two. I have noticed that doing so has helped quite a bit with my sites.
how does one go about buying links??? I keep hearing about that but truthfully, I'm new and don't know what that even means! lol Thanks guys, this site DP rocks!
IMO, the best place to buy links is on the forum here at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 . Alternatively, you could go with a link broker, but I would recommend buying links from that forum instead of going with a broker.
how long approx, give or take, will it take for G to use the sitemap.xml information after its been approved? They've accepted the new sitemap.xml but Im wondering how long until I see changes? month? 2?
More links can only help you to index all pages. Deep linking is also a good idea. Also try to get all pages linked within 2-3 clicks from home page. If it's remain buried 10-15 clicks behind then they may not get crawled at all.
