Is there any way to check current online users and max online users

    i have searched a lot for free script which can give me status of current online users and max online users

    Like there is in footer of most forums

    but my site is designed in php script

    Users online depends on what your preferred definition of timeframe: users online in the last 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc. Do you want to track a forum or just a general php based site?

    Do you want to program the code yourself or are you strictly looking for a script or plug-in?

    i will programe the code my self if it needs any modification, or script

    but which dont puts load on server
