Is There Any Way To Avoid The Google Sandbox?

    If I have a new blog who's success depends upon getting it ranked immediately for certain keywords, how can I bypass the sandbox, black hat or otherwise?

    If you get a good ping list you should be able to rank decently pretty fast.

    Update your blog frequently and ping it often. If not, try to build up some backlinks fast. However, building your backlinks way too fast serve a warning sign to Google about your site and they might ban you for black hat link building.

    I never experienced the sandbox.
    * Build links fast..a directory submitter will help out nicely,
    * Use "All in one SEO plug in, (If using word press)
    * Stumble, Digg frequently
    * Join Blogging communities.
    Last but not least...a sure fire way would be to purchase an already indexed domain, that is over a year old.

    Get a ton of links, preferably from authority sites. Focus on good content and attracting quality links, I wouldn't worry too much about link exchanges or directory submissions.

    I have started numerous blogs on self-hosted WordPress and have never encountered the Google sandbox. The ping list and building links quickly are great ways to avoid this and blogging makes it really easy. Good luck!

    Sandbox is old news with WordPress. Pinging feature gets you indexed almost immediately.

    Yes, but getting indexed and getting ranked are 2 completely different things...are they not?

    Yes shadowplay you are right, two completely different things.

    I wouldn't worry about the "Google Sandbox" that much. it depends on which keyword but ranking high and fast (within a couple of months) in google isn't super hard if you use the right keywords.

    Don't try to rank number 1 for "kids" but if you try to rank for "lovely kids" or "kids TV", (couldn't think of a other one this quick) then it's possible for a quick high ranking. Just pick your keywords wisely.

    Personally, I don't know if a sandbox exists for blogs. I have a new blog that's only a month old and it's averaging 70 uniques a day. That's 2,100 uniques a month and it just keeps growing. Looking at my stats, I have over 250 different keyphrases that attracted traffic from Google. Yahoo just sucks. I marketed pretty hard at the start, and I think posting here on DP helps keep the bots coming back regularly.

    Way to escape sandbox (wonder if it exists?) DIY.
    1. good ping list.
    2. different keywords and pages promotion.
    3. authority backlinks.
    4. social bookmarking.
    5. daily update and unique content.

    First of all; I agree with webrehash, I don't believe in a sandbox as well. An updated Blog is the ideal tool for ranking high.

    My guess is that optimizing your blog is only <5% of your SEO and ranking.

    You have to submit your blog to directories, get links from article directories get backlinks from related sites, comments etc. etc. etc. and once you all have done this and you are on the front page.... you have to repeat it all again and again and again.

    I'm doing this full time. And I want one of my new blogs which has my full attention to reach the number 1 for some very competitive phrases. It costs me some money for submissions and listings and a lot of time and i really mean a lot of time. And now after 3 - 4 months this blog is on the first page (ranking pos. 6 - 10) with several very competitive phrases and i only receive an average of 1200 visitors a day.

    I'm very sorry; this isnt the answer that you are looking for. but getting your blog on the front page isnt somthing that is done overnight. It's isnt super hard but you do need to work for it.
