Whenever I get an email that contains the same subject as a previous email, it gets grouped as shown in the picture above. Is there any way I can make it so that every email I receive is a new email (and nothing gets grouped)? Thanks in advance
Nope, there's no way to turn threading off in Gmail. You could download your email to IMAP or use another provider if you don't like it.
I solved it by using Thunderbird to check mail instead. No problems now with the annoying conversation/threaded view.
On the contrary, I love this feature as it helps to keep chain of conversation on a single topic into one single mail and thus keeping my inbox clutter free with only different subjects mail shown in each line! Regards, RightMan
For some it may be the best part of gmail, but there are also many others who find this feature and the inability to turn it off, an annoyance. Just search it up on google, "turn off gmail conversation view", "disable gmail conversation view", "turn off gmail threaded view", etc. In future, you may very well find this feature an annoyance yourself. Just saying.
yaaah this is a very nice part of gmail . i like this feature but many times some users don't like this feature
