is there any use of buying misspelled domain names?

    I am a novice.

I just stumbled upon a mis-spelled search phrase that has over 3 million search terms.
Would it be any good to buy the domain of that search term ? considering that google automatically kicks in "Showing results for "corrected term". Search instead for "original term" "

The number of search results doesn't matter for a misspelled domain! I tried this trick, got a few dozen hits per month, no conversions for 5 misspelled domains for a pretty popular company that gets hundreds of thousands of visitors per month on the official domain. Not worth it...

I would say don't waste your time or money on misspellings.

Yeah. What is the purpose of a domain name that is misspelled?
