I alway wonder, how do you check site in each and every browser to ensure it's compatibility. Is there any free service or software which let's you experience the screenshot or actual view of different browsers in different resolutions. thanks
I hope this helps but: if you can get all of your code HTML validated, your site should be compatible with most browsers. http://validator.w3.org/
Unfortunately the above is totally untrue as each browser engine renders things slightly differently and can be different between major releases too IE being the worst offender but by no means unique. The software to do it with is simply installing the browsers given that they are all free - the challenge is more on the ones which are OS specific but then you can pick up a secondhand mac very cheaply, as it will only need to run a web browser and that is it it can be a very slow model. Nix and Windows can be installed on the same pc. Other than that you need to get a copy of the multiple IE program which will allow you to have IE 5.5, 6 and 7 installed on the same PC (and older versions but there are so few users of pre 5.5 it is questionable if the return on time taken (esp fixing given much older browsers didnt support CSS etc) is worth it. There is at least one free website that will do snapshots for you however it is operated using a quequing system and whilst others rave about it I have never once actually managed to see the results and/ or havent had the time to wait the few hours for the queque esp when you may need to queque again if there are errors that need fixing.
@AstarothSolutions, thanks a lot. Rep added I agree. But you taught me so much now. I really didn't knew about the multiple IE system. Definitely worth to try
