Is there any software can do that

    Hi
I need to ask, is there a great piece of software (paid or otherwise) that offers an attractive ppc reporting system (with lots of nice looking charts and graphs for customer to see), and that also acts as a bid management tool.

If both cannot be found in the same product, what are say the best 2 or 3 you know of at each:

    a) reporting

    b) bid management

    Thanks

For reporting you can't beat good old adwords. Only experimented with keywordmax bid management tool which was rubbish

Omniture is like $10,000/year. Crazy expensive!

Salesforce works for me. You can see every kind of metric you need and the bid tools are integrated as well. This is on-demand software. You can torrent Omniture (older version), but the system requirements are quite high.

    SEO Apprentice,

That's the first time I've ever heard salesforce.com mentioned in the context of bid management. I have followed the development of Keiden on salesforce.com's AppExchange (I believe salesforce acquired them) and recall having told Benioff directly at a conference in 2004 that he should build SEM mgmt into his system.

I'd be very interested to hear about what industry you're in and how you use salesforce's bid mgmt feature, as well as what the value to you is in terms of how it allows you to run your business.

Are you in a B2B sector?

    Thanks,
    Shorebreak

    Shorebreak,

You guessed correctly. I am in a B2B sector, specifically on-demand business management software and as a matter of fact I am glad that you and others recommended this function to be integrated with salesforce.com, because it makes things easier when you can do everything from the same dashboard. Basically, you do all the things that you can do in the Adsense page at google.com, directly in the salesforce.com dashboard. It allows you to run your search ad campaigns from there, and then you get all the metrics integrated as well and presumably in real time; therefore, you save time and money and if you are part of the marketing team in your organization, then salesforce.com is the way to go, from my perspective. It just makes things easier and a little bit more organized. By the way I DO NOT work for them in any way, so don't think that I mention this as a commercial; just my humble opinion.

    Sincerely,

    SEO-Apprentice

I use plain old AdWords to manage my accounts, haven't been able to get into the Google AdWords Editor even.

There does seem to be a massive niche in the market for a simple, lower cost reporting tool that imports a CVS report from Google and generates branded reporting with pretty graphs etc, for PPC management firms to send to their clients.

I'm happy with the data that AdWords provides, but clients just want a quick and simple overview, which I'm currently having to produce manually.
