Currently i am doing seo for a tours and travels site. http://suburban.travel. Its domain was .in and i changed it to .travel domain. Is this step is helpful for seo? Please make a review of my site and suggest me your opinions to improve traffic to the site. I am new to the SEO field. Also mention the new latest change in the google algorithm for SEO

You have a great site here!

When you change domain names it will affect your SEO. SEO is based on the domains and the urls so if you have changed the domain name then that means the search engines have to Re-Index all of your content all over again.

So the answer is....it does affect your SEO rankings but that is not a problem.

Just keep working on the SEO for your site and having a more relevant Domain Name is always good for the search engines. I think it was a good thing you have changed the domain extension to .travel if your site is about traveling.

You are actually helping the search engines tell what your site is about. Of course you will have to do the SEO work all over again but now but that's fine. Now your site is ready to get a lot of organic traffic from the search engines. Just make sure you are doing daily work and that you are updating your site frequently.

SEO is not complicated, it is actually easy. All it really takes is consistency. You have to do a lot of it in order to see the results you want to see. You can outsource a lot of the work but if you don not have the budget to invest then you will have to do the work yourself.

Having a relevant domain name is pretty good in front of the search engines and especially even more now with the latest Google Update.

If you haven't noticed ever since the last Google Update - exact match domains are ranking up pretty good in the search engines.

I hope this info helps you and if you want to learn more on SEO - just follow me! ;)

    Much success!
