Question for those who have already used the web directories submisson services. How it is effective for SEO site? How much it influenced on the attendance?
No, a lot of those services do not make any sense. Do it your self. I see a lot of these services going to my directories and violate my time and services thus the site don't get approved, they don't care where they submit, they use a software to do most of the hard task on submitting and it gets it wrong most of the time and this is always an indication that it has been submitted by a directory submission company. When you get a service from them, lets say they offer you a 1000 submission to a free web directories for $10. Sounds great don't it? BUT, they don't tell you that they guarantee 1000 to be ACCEPTED? You will think that if 10% gets accepted then it is worth it, right? Wrong! Not nearly 10% of what you were hoping for will be accepted because this people that do the submitting do not follow the rules of the places they submit too, they submit on places that they have bookmarked or that was included in the software. Some of those web directories might have turned into a Paid directories or have a different Category structures than the standard, but this people are so lazy to even organize things around to get things right, they got your money and they click a few buttons to generate the submissions then you get an email from a web directory saying "We could not accept your site submission" when ever it doesn't approved a site, the scripts auto generate this email to be sent based on what email was given to in the submission form, most likely it will be your email address. So you got this not approved email, you will get lots of this, but some web directories don't have this emailing features, which means you wont know. The whole point of me telling this is that it lets you know that your site has been submitted, whether it has been approved or not, either way a part of your 1000 submission had been wasted. Why wasted you ask? Because one of what helps a directory service to let a client know that they have been working on submission is the Emailing scripts that the directories sends out to the client to let them know of acceptance or disapproval. Basically if you pay me $10 for me to submit to 1000 directories I wont do much as I have a software that pretty much auto generate the process with little effort and I wont care whether it gets accepted or not because my goal is to submit to 1000 free web directories. For the most part in a Directory submission service is a SCAM! best to do it yourself even if you will be using the same software that they use, instead of paying them the money, you might as well buy the software. Though I suggest doing it the hard way,... manually. Not all Submission company are equal, there maybe a good company out there that will do a great service to you, but finding them is a tough luck!
There are good directory submission services out there. Do your research and choose wisely. Of course nobody cares more about your project then you. So if you do have the time, do it yourself as wwws noted.
If you find a good submission service it can be well worth the money. A good service should have a list of directories that they know approve links and also pass on some link juice. They should have done the work of weeding out the bad directories for you. Ask a few questions about what reporting they give you as a part of the service. If all they do is give you a list of directories they've submitted to then they're probably just going to blast your site out to a bunch of directories at random. However, if they report on the results of the link building effort (actual links back to your site) then you know they probably have a good system of picking good directories.
If you're not going to submit to a hell lot of directories, then do it yourself. You save some money. If you have to submit to many directories, then I think you should just put your mind into finding a good service provider.
Have to agree with every one else. I have tried the services and seen no significant increase in anything. That tells me that they are worthless and its a waste of money. But hey! its all about your own opinion baby.
There's something else that I've noticed with most submission services is that your site gets listed in the wrong category because most free directory owners would never review your site nor would they move it to the right category if required. Getting a link from a page/site/category that has no relevance to your site is a silent "rank" killer! However, some submission services are reliable...fortunately.
If you have no time to submit your site to web directories, just pay someone to don the work for you. but i cannot find any reliable service providers around the web.
There are outsourcing marketing companies out there that give reasonable rates for their services. If sticking to a budget or would want to be sure about everything, do the submission yourself. Come up with good quality articles and submit them to high ranking directories. You'll have more control on your promotion if you do the work yourself.
good advise mate. Yes, there are lots of outsourcing companies who provide such kind of services. If you're interested, you can visit our website and hope we can discuss further.
