Is there any relation bitween Google pagerank and yahoo ?

    Does yahoo use data from google ?
    are them using the google PR ? or not :)

    if not, is there any rank system for yahoo ?

    Yahoo uses it's own ranking system independent of google.

    My recollection is Yahoo has not used Google data for three years. However they do collaborate on PPC in some small overseas markets.

    No there is no relation between google pr and yahoo.

    Both have their own algoriths and it can be confirmed by searching any keyword in both of the search engines.

    Only few keywords are there for which you get same result in both search negines for example you can try to search word 'hp'

    i see yahoo now is quit similar with google year ago.
    i tested yahoo recently for few keyword that i familiar with, and the result pages are similar with what i see in google before, more than 50% matching.

    anyone else see the same patent? or me just dreaming :)

    I also saw this but there is slight conflict i've seen. Almost both are same with little difference.

    It's just that Yahoo has a very different way of ranking the sites. As we pay too much attention to what Big G is saying and doing Yahoo usually gets the second chair. In no way is there any relation to the Google Page Rank and how Yahoo ranks its sites.
