I want to know that some of my blogs are getting indexed by google but there PR is 0. Is there any relation between PR and google indexing
Websites / Pages URL's PR value gets exported once every couple of month's usually 3-4 months... So once you get a new website indexed in Google Index, it will first get's a PR of N/A and later on will start to show PR0 and by that time by building more backlinks to that particular page your PR will increase.. Hope i was clear and helpful, REP is most appreciated.
wp-themes you should know better than to ask for rep. I think that is against the rules. Really it wasn't a good enough answer to deserve rep anyway. riksgonemad: Websites can get indexed regardless of their PR. A brand new website would start off with no PR. After it is indexed, you will have to wait until the next toolbar PR updated to get PR. If you build up lots of backlinks you can expect a bigger PR increase.
there's an indirect relation, if you have a good PR means that there are "good" sites with links to you and with that your site will be indexed more times in the month or week...
To get indexed, the page must first be crawled. There are numerous factors that go into your crawl rate. That said, going back a few years, G used to crawl PR5 & higher sites daily. I don't think that is the case any more. /*tom*/
There are numerous tools that purport to show a given page's PR. Get one (or more) and do some more or less random searches and see what PR the top hits have. What you will typically find is that for niche topics, the top hits actually have little (if any) PR. SEO is a good thing, and it is wise to use all measures available as well as one can, but in the last analysis, sound relevant content dominates.
Having no pr doesn't mean big G won't index your site. You can even rank for keywords besides having no PR.
Re index speed and PR: I don't think that's true; I see GoogleBot every other day on my forum, but the PR of my site is just 1.
