I hate paypal and i know a ton of others that do as well. Is there an alternative that is comparable to paypal?
Moneybookers E-Gold NETELLER Liberty Reverse Western Union Plimus E-Bulion Best: Money bookers But you should use paypal unless your scareeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddddd of... people storrrieeeeeeeeeeeeees
I would say my processor is a very competitive option to Paypal: www.softcartpro.com Better rates than Plimus or 2CO by a long ways, no setup fee, no monthly fees and no gateway fees. Check us out!
sadly there is no paypal alternative... but i know why i hate paypal... and its because of reversal, chargeback, frauds etc... but i have over come this probem....
the very reasons we dislike paypal are the reasons buyers prefer paypal. In my experience, you WILL lose sales if you don't use paypal, especially if you're selling to people in forums like DP.
Try cardserviceinternational.com You dont need to fax anything and you will be approved withing 24-48 hours. Excellent company as we have dealt with the for our web site selling part of the business for 2 years now.
It really depends on what exactly you're trying to do. One good thing about Paypal is that it works (with varying levels of success) for B2C and C2C (business to consumer etc). 2Checkout doesnt work for C2C-type transactions. E-gold is ok but it seems mostly scammers use it.
ALERTPAY is best. i hate paypal, wht if a person has no cradit card or living in a country which is not in paypal list. then ? so ALERTPAY is good.
Forget about Stormpay: these are the biggest scammers around. Just search for Stormpay and 12DP and you will understand
Here are a few paypal alternates: Alertpay = Per their website “The secure and fast way to pay online.†Anypay = Per their website “You can send, request and receive money to and from anyone with an email address." Greenzap = Per their website "send, spend, and receive money" IKobo = Per their website “iKobo money transfer is the fastest and safest way to send money to anyone, anywhere in the world.†I got fed up with trying to locate alternatives to Paypal when I needed it and figured others were looking too, so I started www.paymentalternates.com (or www.pmtalt.com) where I listed a lot more payment systems. I am just starting sections for outside the US. If you run across others that aren't listed please let me know about them so I can check them out and add them to my site. You can email info@paymentalternates.com. -- JLR
Oh please, don't turn people into that scam. CSI is the biggest ripoff/joke merchant's account on the planet. Ask anybody who has ever had the displeasure of using them (like me). To begin with, there is no transparency and Cardservices is impossible to contact for support. Not to mention they nickle and dime you every penny they can like charging you $10 per month for a printed statement !!! On top of it, they sell your email, phone number and other information to marketers. also, be warned, CardServices has a lot of "fronts", one of them being paypalsucks.com read : http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/130/RipOff0130600.htm Take my advice from my experience. If you're in the US and need a merchants account to process credit cards, open a business account with BOA or Wachovia and use their payment solutions but whatever you do STAY AWAY from Cardservices. and FYI: e-gold, Liberty Reserve, Alertpay and Pecunix are mostly used by ponzi schemes and online scammers, so no respectful merchant would touch them and people can't use a credit card to pay you, they have to purchase the e-currency through an exchanger (who are 99% of the time scammers). People aren't going to jump through those hoops to send you Alertpay or e-gold. Plus, e-gold is under US Federal indictiment as of early 2007 for money laundering so they could just close up on any given moment. MoneyBookers is very reliable and Webmoney is great if you're dealing with people in Eastern Europe. ccBill (ccBill.com), Verotel (verotel.com), IKOBO (ikobo.com) and 2CO (2co.com) are all reliable but they charge an arm and a leg because they all allow porn sites.
The closest that would come to paypal is moneybookers, but nothing beats the sending and receiving fees of a paypal personal account.
