Is there any problem (regarding SE placement or adsense problems etc) with having many many sites on 1 dedicated server?

I'm not talking about 300 MFA's.. i'm talking about a bunch of sites... each site having 10 or so ORIGINAL articles.... with adsense as the main revenue stream...

any problem with this when it comes to ranking in the SE's?

If that sites are interlinked, probably those links won't pass any PR. Also if their content is very similar some sites could be penalized because of duplicate content.
But it those sites are not interlinked and has different content, it would be ok.

The content will be very different.... and they wont be interlinked

so i should be completely fine right?

I used to always see people asking for multiple ips over different c-classes etc etc... is that because they wanted to use that to interlink??? because thats why i figured there would be problems with having a lot of sites on the same server.... but i guess its because they wanted to interlink?

Yes, your sites should be completely fine that way.
Think of that hosting companies selling "shared hosting" to hundreds or thousands of sites.
One of my sites are hosted on a shared hosting server with +5,400 other sites hosted on that server, and is ranked on Google top10 for many many keywords (several top1 too).

I have heard theory based on years of experience from some of my associates that say that having a site, one site on a dedicated IP, gives you the best possible visibility when it comes to SEO.
I have put that practice into effect with my new blog, and I am getting some good numbers right out of the gate. 2500-3500 page views a day, in the first 50 days.
Of course I did the usual things too, but I am still not believing the numbers so soon.
Niche' and content have a lot to do with it too, I am sure.

One of my top 3 incoming IP addresses is from Yahoo, and they literally have hundreds of ip addresses coming in on one main address. I thought this was a problem at first until I back tracked the ip addresses and saw DSL service providers like, SBC, , Barek, Golden Lines, AOL U.K, BT Broadband, Easy Net. NTL World and Virgin, Prodigy, Earthlink, and many more.

I bring that up to say, that my stats see these as one IP address, and not individuals. Would that have an effect if these ip addresses all had websites on them? Maybe.

I know there are many that would dis agree with this, but the numbers don't lie. When I had this blog on free hosting, just messing around, it took me 2 months just to get 100 visitors a day. Now in 50 days on a dedicated IP, starting from scratch, with a brand new domain......a few hundred uniques a day? And I haven't had any real time to put SEO into it, and clean up some of the code and stuff.

..and yes a large percentage of visitors spend 5 - 30 minutes on the site (from differing IP addresses), and use the contact form, so I know it's real people.
It has to have something to do with it,
