Is there any point in submitting more than one article to ezine articles or any other

I've done an article and submitted it to ezine articles as soon as it was approved my clients site jumped up on the first page for her chosen keyword significantly...

If I do another article for a different keyword will it have the same effect or does Google only see one link coming from the site? If this is the case what article submission sites carry the most weight.

Were you logged into Google? This likely had an impact unless you have an extremely non-competitive keyword.

When it comes to article marketing, the only way more links from a site like Ezine will prove beneficial is if you're trying to get traffic.

To pull rank from article marketing, you will need to hit as many of the directories as you can and get a link back from them. The link building strategy with article marketing is more about the variety of sites you can get links from and the one-way, anchor texted links. Otherwise, it won't really be helpful in the short term.

 

Article marketing can be very effective if done correctly. It's really worth doing.

 

Keep one thing in your mind that the Articles should be resourceful to promotional.

Getting one link from one IP is fine but as long as Article directory like Ezinearticles is concerned , you can submit more articles because if your articles get picked up by content scrapers, you are likely to get backlinks from different different IPS which is desirable.

 

No I've logged out of google and deleted history and stuff and they are definatly ranking for 'pet portraits' its not overly competative but I've been link building and stuff for quite a while now.. and as you say doing a variety of different things to get up there and finally after like 2 months I've seen some positive results...
