    There are other American Pie movies if you've only seen one. I don't know how you wouldn't have heard of the other ones but I just want to make sure. The next generation of everyman comedy is:

    Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, Superbad, I Love You Man, Role Models and things like that.

    'Dreamers' as in 'The Dreamers' with Eva Green? Hmmm. I don't think it's really a screwball comedy. More like a "I wanna die from boredom."

    If you like 'American Pie' so much, go with the fare from The Asylum. '18 Year Old Virgin' has it's moments and '#1 Cheerleader Camp' has some laughs too. Although, you may need a lobotomy.
