Is there any more accurate way to test Adwords Scenarios?

I used the traffic estimator before but I find that the estimates are always completely off. Is there any way of doing a test, lets say for a week, to find out how many clicks and what it would cost to stay on top, with out actually implementing the campaign?

    Does this make sense?

Not really.. You can use the tools (pretty inaccurate) or run a real test (really accurate).

I agree! Estimation is estimation, you have to run a real test if you wanna get more accurate data.

I figured that was going to be the answer, but asked anyway. I have run some tests that got really out of hand!

Also, one more question, what do you guys think about selling flat fee ppc campaigns to customers?

It's fine as long as the expectations & requirements are clearly spelled out up front.
