Depends on your definition of "Winning". In the cases of Nicaragua and Cuba, it sounds like you dont even hold a commonly definition of the word "War". When two people hold different definitions for the same words, meaningful communication is impossible.

When you have a chance, you should visit the Russian nuclear ballistic missile bases in Cuba. They keep them near the Unicorn farm, and just down the road from the nations supply of pixie dust.

I like freedom of speech, I hate censor and spying on your own citizens.
I like countries that support rule of law and has a working justice system, I hate countries that can arrest people and keep them in prison without conviction and torture them.
I like countries that try to avoid civilian casualties in wars and I hate the countries that just call them collateral damage.
I like honest people who volunteer and try to do something good, I hate people who turn every volunteer work to a commercial business and support corruption.
I like countries that government works for the good of nation, I hate countries that government works for the good of few.
If you need more examples of what I like or dislike, you just need to ask.
