Hello DP .. Hello members .. I'm looking for a good theme for my blog , and I wonder if you came across one that maybe fits my needs .. I'm searching for a theme for the official blog of http://www.youtips.net/ , it will be located at http://blog.youtips.net/ I would like a free magazine theme , with the colors of the site (blue sky , white , a little black maybe) I spent hours searching , and the only theme that I found excellent (with some modifications) is a paid one .. here is the preview .. http://web2feel.com/civix/ Could you please find anything similar ? I'll be really thankful. Toon-c.
Seen the Arthemia theme yet? Maybe you could hire someone to modify it a bit and make it a bit more "custom".
Nice! clean template, very pro .. If there is not other suggestions , I think I'' try to work in this template and make it more unique .. thanks Ikki
Arthemia comes in a free version and a paid version. With paid themes you get a lot of extras on the backend, things like built in ad integration tools, front page auto configuration tools, video and photo tools, etc. If the theme is coded properly this makes site set up and replication much easier. Arthemia is a good theme, I am not using it because it doesn't offer the Ad placement I want. Don't discount a paid theme just because it costs a little up front. A lot of people will spend a ton of time trying to make a FREE theme work, and never really end up with a professional easy to use and update site. If you are just blogging then go for it. But if you are representing yourself and/or doing Affiliate Marketing you'll make a lot more sales and a lot more money by really taking the time to find a theme that really works for your project. Sometimes you can find a good free theme, sometimes not. Gabfire, Gorrilla, UBD... there are some reallyi talented and innovative designers out there... and they save the good stuff for the products that help them to earn a living. How many times have you sat down and spent 30+ hours coding a project just so you could give it away? And neither do they. Something else to consider. If you do Adsense or are an Online Business it's worth the money to pay to remove the licensing link.
