I'd like to double check my link building activities. I'm looking for software or a web service where I can put in a list of links (anywhere from 100 to 1000 or even more). it would show me which ones are "good" links based on specific criteria: - pagerank of page - site pagerank - if it's a dofollow link - how many other links on the page - etc Is there anything currently available for this?
I don't really understand your question. Do you want the software to check how many backlinks a specific domain receive? Or to check each single page in a domain with its backlinks? Of course, dofollow and nofollow attribute should be included.
no. Let's say you have the url of any websites where your link appears... you either got it from google webmaster tools,or maybe you paid some people to do linkbuilding & they give you a report. you take all these urls, put them into the software & then it gives you info about each link, like what is the PR of the page with the link, if it's a dofollow link, etc etc
seo spyglass... will detail all the links pointing to your url and tell u the whois, alexarank, page rank, ip add... all the stuff i think your after... theres a free version which will grab only 100 backlinks, pay the 80$ n it opens right up... also site exploere in yahoo is a ok... seo majestik run a good backlink trace a 2$ a go... erm other than that i think u may have to build your own... theyre only spiders and php and html data... its quite tricky but mine i nicked the template form spygalss n played n played n played but i dont that was to make it easier to filter results... when u start to trace wite with site wide links u can ping a hell of a lot o links so filtering them is where the good stuff comes in... seo spyglass mate... its awesome for 80$ peace
thanks for the info, but seo spyglass doesn't really do what i need. I'd like to check a list of links that I have. seo spyglass seems to discover the links on its own, and there is a very good chance that brand new links will not have been discovered yet. eg, if you hire a company to do link building, you want to know right away if they are doing a good job, or at least as advertised. You might need this info to decide on whether or not to continue the campaign, or even whether or not you actually want to PAY them. By the time the links show up in seo spyglass, it could be a long time passed. I can see how seo spygloass would be great for looking at your competitors links, as these are links that are already discovered by Google, etc... and of course these are the only ones that count in this respect.
