The first site that comes to mind is: http://www.backlinkwatch.com/

These are for speed, but I'd also give them a try on your site and on the site of your competitor:
    http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ and http://gtmetrix.com/

Check out HubSpot's Marketing Grader, too: http://marketing.grader.com/

I always use HubSpot for good analyzis, but also backlinkwatch is good for backlinks checker... Don't forget ahrefs that will tell you more about your backlinks (for example when were they created!) :)

Try this - https://ahrefs.com, it has some limit for free uses though.

Best bet is to sign up and use them daily.

I also looked for free analysis tool, pal. What I found? Seomall offers full analysis in 14 pages with your competitors analysis. I think $4.49 isn`t too much for this.

there are very few tools which can show all the data what you need but not for FREE., you need to register and then check for more. There are some tools which offer 30 days FREE trial like raventools, seoprofiler etc. You can avail this and find what you needed.

For your own site you can use MajesticSEO.com free of charge (once you verify that you own it) to look at your backlinks. You must subscribe (around $50/month) to access backlinks for any website... an AWESOME tool well worth the money. Majestic is much better than Moz's Open Site Explorer. If you're serious about researching backlinks, $50 per month is absolutely nothing.

But no one tool is going to give you a good picture as each tool's crawler crawls different sites and different depths of the web. I like to combine MajesticSEO, Open Site Explorer, Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools data to get a better (but still not complete) picture of a site's backlink profile. All of those tools show "samples" of a site's backlinks.

As someone mentioned, no one tool will show you all the data. Its best to use a few tools to get a better picture. I use SEO Spyglass (they have a free version, limite to 1000 backlinks I believe), ahrefs (also has a free version) and Moz (Do a search for blackhatworld moz 4 month trial, there is a free 4 month trial code out there) they have some nice tools other than just opensiteexplorer. my 2 cents

For those people who answered with Google Analytics....He said to check for backlinks and he also said to check a competitors web site. Google Analytics will not do either of those.
