Is there any free hosting services that allow wordpress?

    Hey there!

I was wandering wether there are any free hosting services which allow wordpress to be hosted for free. I tried some of it, but they seem to offer only html websites and require payment for hosting wordpress.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Dude, just about every free host allows wordpress I've never seen a host yet that wouldn't host it. You should go over to freewebspace.net and find yourself a good free host ;)

And how are you going to get traffic to your "free" site? You going to promote the FREE URL? You going to get much rank if your site is framed and redirected?

You going to invest your time and effort into a site you can't even control?

Find a cheap host that allows add on domains and go to work. FREE CAN BE VERY COSTLY.

But then again my time is worth more than a buck an hour.

When I was starting at firs I was trying weebly I believe the name was, really cool sites for a beginer but if you put adsense or affiliate products, they also get a percentage of that. I rather pay 4 bucks per month to have hosting than to risk any earnings, by the way I use godaddy hosting, I like their deals.

    My two cents

Yes! Here are some free hosts that have php and mysql which is the requirement for WP www.thefreehosts.com However I have to say you will find that free hosting sites in general will let you down in one way or another in the long run... So do what you have to do in the short run to get your self going and move on to a reliable hosting solution.

Thanks for all your responses guys,

Thanks victor9191, it's so kind of you.

Yea, I agree with internetmarketingiq and micksss. Putting all your effort and time to something which is free and later if I want to move out to a new domain and host, going all over again does not sound good.

Might as well buy one and go all out on developing it.

I personally dont like free hosts, because bandwidth and space are generally a low thing issue.. You can have a shared host or a single account for only 15 dollars per month. OR LOWER

You can get hosting for under $7/month that lets you have 3 Wordpress blogs/sites running from the one space here: http://fast-web-hosting.duoservers.com/ and it's one of those one click installs too. I love one click installs... no mucking about.

I've got a couple of sites with them already. No problems. And they have one of those 24/7 chat help online people, which I have needed in the past with other hosts and I think it's essential to be able to get hold of a real person at no cost when there's a problem.

Wordpress.com doesn't really let you customize your blog as much... plus you can't monetize it.
