    Google is always making tweaks to it's search algorithms and not all are announced. Instead of worrying about what Google is doing, just focus on good SEO practices such as adding content to your site on a regular basis and providing something of value to your visitors.

    Google is always make changes and so many sites are there effected by the Google. But SEO is the best way to get rank for your sit. :)

    Because google will not always announce every updates, i suggest you to continue your normal seo practice to one site, and do nothing to the other one, check the differences after a few weeks.
