    Each time I search on DuckDuckGo, it’s as if I’ve never been there before.

    Duckduckgo does not track user searches, therefore ensures 100% privacy and security (good morals). However, this is not good for commercial purposes because ads can not be targeted towards users with specific search patterns.

    This is not to say Google is immoral. Sometimes good, efficient business practices (such as making sure that ads are displayed only to the people who are interested) are seen as immoral because it requires the company to collect all public and personal information from its users.
