I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you want to know if there are affiliate networks that let you put ads on a free site? If that is the question, I can tell you that all the networks I'm familiar with allow that.

And what kind of detailed answer do you want? A list of networks? Do a Search on the forum and you'll find tons of suggestions

You are right about this forum sharing knowledge. But some of that knowledge has been shared dozens of times and a simple search can turn up all that a person might need. The information is there to be found. If all posters do is write the same stuff over and over and over, what good is it?

You can also make money referring other people to Google Adsense. By placing a referral button on your site you increase your earnings potential.

Which affiliate program is not the issue, as many will accept just about anyone. The issue is what free hosting blog platform are you using, and do they allow affiliate advertising, and banners ?
    Not all do.

For the most part you will not be approved or denied based on your blog being free hosted, if it is a quality blog.
There is no clear cut answer to your question, the only way to know for sure, out of the 10's of thousands affiliate programs out there, is to check the TOS of the ones you want to apply to, or apply and see the result, just like the rest of us.

There is also no way for us to answer your question about the TOS of your blogging platform because we don't know what it is.

So if the answers here seem vague, it's because the question is too broad to be answered without any information.

What blogging platform do you use, and what programs do you want to use on it ?

If you are hosting you own word press blog, you are not bound by anyone's TOS and can do what ever your hosting company allows.

Affiliate programs will approve or deny you based on the quality and relevance of your blog.

If you are using free wordpress.com, you cannot have affiliate links, banners, or programs on your blog.
