Is there an "Official" Website to use when Checking PR?

I have gone to many different websites after searching through Google for a PR checker, and I can't seem to get a consistent reading. Some site's say I have a PR of 2, others say 4, and some even say 0! Is there one official PR checker, preferably run by Google so I know the results are correct?

As mentioned, use the google toolbar.
Don't worry about your sites pagerank so much though, just focus on getting more backlinks and producing lots of high quality content pages.

It does indeed, but the thing is that the actual data used by google is internal, i.e. unavailable to the general public.
