I run a thesis wordpress blog www.squatsandmilk.com I really like plain designs and have found a website that i like (http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com) What would be the easiest way to make my website look like that? I don't think it would be that hard but i could be mistaken. Thanks for your help!
It wouldn't be difficult. Just take one of the thousands of free Wordpress themes that are laid out the same way and create a child theme, modifying the relevant CSS to match color and font. You could easily download the CSS file for that website via the source code... In my opinion, however, it would simply be better to create your own unique look, rather than copy someone elses.
agree.. a unique one always been remembered. after all its not hard to create a new theme in wp. as you can do it by using the default theme ti be based on.
Take a look at some magazine themed templates and see if there is anything you like or is close enough to what you're looking for.
