Is there an easy way to tell Adsense to ignore a certain IP?

Okay, I made the classic mistake of mentioning Adsense to my family. Although in the very next breath I said, "Don't click on any of my ads!", I'm not sure it got through.

Now, it's probably not worth anyone's while to worry about one or two clicks. But I do want to be safe rather than sorry. So what I want to be able to do is to get Adsense to discount clicks from a certain IP address, so that in future I won't have to worry about my family trying to help me.

I don't know the IP address in question, I'd need to go and visit to check first. But what I am wondering is, is there an easy way to report this online, or will I need to phone up Adsense every time?

With php you could not display the ads? Or ban your family from your sites using .htaccess?

Banning them would be a bit too extreme, I don't think that would make for very comfortable family gatherings! Using php to hide the ads is a good solution, though. I will try that.

I did tell them this, but my family are not all webmasters. It takes a while to explain the concept of Adsense and the problem of fraudulent clicks to people who don't have any professional interest in the subject. After all, there are plenty of people who do sign up to Adsense who don't get it either, and click their own ads. So I told them, and they nodded, but that doesn't mean that what I said made perfect sense to them.
