You might want to add your site on yahoo groups maybe that will help, add your site on the yahoo directory, search for sites that are already listed in Yahoo and ask them to exhange links with u... if that will help to get you eventually in Yahoo.. i guess it will.;)

Yahoo index database is much smaller than Google's. many pages in google won't be in yahoo. Yahoo will slurp the same page a few times in a few days and won't index the page in months.

It's odd that you're in msn and not Yahoo, since msn is using yahoo for the data. Compare the results on a search, it's obvious. Yahoo has the purchased listings inserted, but other than that their identical.

Being slurped is being visited by Yahoo's spider.

Being "slurped" can be referred as being visited by any spider.

Slurp is the name Yahoo have given to their crawler http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp/slurp-01.html and the best way to get it to visit is to have a few inbound links from sites that are frequently crawled by slurp already.

Just because the Yahoo Slurp spiders your site everday, that does not mean you are listed in the Yahoo "Directory". I've bene told to keep submitting your site to yahoo every three weeks and eventually you should be lucky enough to be added to the directory. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

They fastest way to get in google, yahoo & msn
is to be on a page with high google PR 4+
my site gets crawled my google every 48 hrs or more
yahoo & msn every 1-2 weeks and they will add your site to their index and crawl in less than a month

Join the coop. Most participants are already in the yahoo index. It's free and it's easy in most cases.

hmm yahoo is penalizing my site for a few reasons
    http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/deletions/deletions-05.html

    - Large-scale domain interlinking (this is from thier overture dept)
Excessively cross-linking sites to inflate a site's apparent popularity

and i had links via link vault and the co-op
i dumped both to be sure..

i wish i could figure this out..
    WTH is going on..

The term "being crawled" is for any spider. "Slurp" is the name of Yahoo's bot.
