I'd advise to do it manually, dumps = duplicate content and disappearing categories problems.

Remember if you are lazy to even build manually the categories for your directories, i am sorry to say you should not be even running a directory, cause directory is not just a directory is just another website and requires just as much work and attention as any other websites. And you think adding categories manually is painful, well sorry but you are not cut out to be directory owner. IF you aint got the time u aint got the desire to run a directory either. You think it was fun for me to put all the categories at http://www.h-log.com/ ? It took more than a full day to just come up with ideas for categories, and to add the extra image feature for like over 50 images, you think thats easy? IF you do not have time nor want to put efforts in your directory i do not see how you can claim to be directory owner unless ofcourse your are hella rich like Richie or other members ?

Anyways users have already told you where to find the dumps so good luck with your project.

categories dumps are usually used now days, but you should set up your own categories, it helps with pr in the long run ;), The more categories you have, the harder to rank all the pages.
    Thanks
