Is there an auto timed post plugin for wordpress?

    Hi All

I am after a plugin where I can add several posts at once, and they will autopost every day or whatever I define. I know there is the edit timestamp feature, but it's quite a hassle to use, especially when adding 40-50 posts, working out the time to post etc.

Has anybody heard of an alternative?

    Thanks

I have read that if you just set the date and at some point in the future they will not publish until then. Haven't tried it so I don't know if it is true or not.

Okay you made me curious. I logged in a posted a message to a blog, and set it to publish in two hours. Logged out and it was not visible on the site but cound be viewed from the admin section. I will check the site again in two hours and report back my findings in this thread.

I've used the timestamp editing. It seems to work ok.

It does work. My test confirms that.

When you go to write a post you want to appear later, change the time or date to when you want it to appear BEFORE you enter any title or text. Then just write and click publish in the normal manner.

You will be able to view the post from admin but it will not show on the site.

The post will not appear until the time, or close to it, that you have chosen. The real time stamp on the message will be displayed when you posted it. I posted this test message at 14:37 pm but modified the time stamp to 16:37. That is about the time it started displaying.

But when ones reads the message the following shows:
The message if you want to examine it for yourself is at skeeterdogblog dot com.

    Hi guys

The main problem with the autopost feature is that if I were adding 50+ posts, I would have to manually edit the time stamp every time, adding an extra day to each post, which is quite time consuming.

I was hoping there might be a plugin out there where I could add 50 posts, and set to post one new one every day or something like that.
