    Howdy, y'all Amazon gold-diggers!

I'm looking a wordpress plugin that would automatically insert amazon links in my blogs; I've tried installing "amazonify" and "wp-amazon" but for the life of me they really don't seem to work like I expected... or at all! Any ideas?

I have this generalist blog with a couple of thousand daily uniques and over a thousand posts... I'm thinking that if there was a way to insert amazon links in-content, that would get a bunch of clicks and probably convert a few sales daily. Does this sound like a plan?

    You can try the following:
    - Place text links containing affiliated product links
    - Use 'iframe' to integrate numerous ads onto a tiny place.

    Hi,

I didn't phrase the question correctly... I'm looking for an automatic way to insert those links. I would like one link in each of my 1000+ posts, so that would be quite a chore to do manually. Also, I want text links specifically. Any ideas?

Try searching for the smartlinks plugin. I'm not sure but I think it'll change the posts that's already posted.

the easiest way to to use the automatic amazon import plugins on wordpress blog.
I've setup several estore based on wordpress and install those automatic import amazon products with our affiliates link inside.
You just put your keywords or specific products and do the import.
Once it imported you can manage the post by editing as normal blog post and get them publish.
here are one example of my estore creation : androidcellphonestore.com <- this is 100% automated.

Smitten - I did read, but only the title, lol :D It's nice to rack some post counts, it makes me happy.

Try betterAmazonAPI plugin. But it does not have "inlinks" capability.

@Smitten, there used to be a Javascript code for this sort of automatic in-content link some years ago, but Amazon, for some reason decided to pull it. I think you're talking about in-content links that work like those ads commonly seen on some sites - they randomly link any relevant keyword to a product with your affiliate link.

I think it is something worth looking into and see if one can code something similar with Javascript or Wordpress plugin

I'm sure the OP was not talking about using pre-configured keywords. Take a minute to read it again -
Like I said in my reply above, there used to be an Amazon widget for it, but has since discontinued.

I will try and whip up a something this weekend and see how it goes.

    Hm... it seems as though "SEO smart links" wordpress plugin might do the trick... except I've just found a better way of doing what I wanted without even using a plugin (-;
