o.k. I have never done any affiliate marketing and like everyone else am always looking to make a few bucks. Can anyone point me in the right direction to start learning? Let me know if I shouldn't even bother.
Yeah, there are lots. ClickBank has them in their marketplace. But a lot of them are kind of rip-offs. Just browse back through DP forums, you'll wind up with the same information eventually.
lol.. so read every post in the DP affiliate marketing program? Has to be something easier then that no ?
I love your question! Dp posts help a lot but then I find it easier to follow someone who has success.
So you are new to the affiliate world. Welcome. This environment is filled with a lot of BS. There's blackhat, whitehat, greyhat..... yada yada. If you want to make a few quick bucks, blackhat is the way to go. It is quick, fairly simple (with the correct free tools, (i.e. cparedirector/cakeslice standalone)), and won't make you a millionaire. Anybody that says it will is BSing you. If you really want to make a mark -- 1.) Come up with a 'new'/twisted idea. 2.) Create AND maintain quality relationships with a select network or few. (quality over quantity) and 3.) Market your idea/site in the right areas. I can't stress enough how far excellent communication with a network will get you. They will bend over backwards for you if you have a genuine and NEW idea. So the two biggest things you need to be truly successful in this world, are creativity and communication. Please take note, this is my personal opinion. It is what has worked for me. I am sure it has worked for countless others. These are the first 'ACTION' steps you need to take. And yes, you do need to 'READ' about affiliate marketing. PM me and I can give you some good documentation for free. Regards, envo
The first thing you should do is learn the basics of Internet Marketing. Without that you will not get anywhere, and with that you will be free to pick and choose how you want to make money. And yes, affiliate marketing is one of them and is ok to start with. The problem you will have is finding someplace to start, and let you progress in a logical way that makes sense as well as a few bucks) Sure DP is great, but only if you already have some background and know the questions to ask. There is a ton of great info here but it would take someone a heck of a long time to sift through it all and make sense of it.
I wrote an affiliate marketing guide, it may help you - http://www.moneytoplist.com/affiliate-marketing-guide.php
