Hi Forum Fanatics First off, i'm loving the world of digital point, although mostly i've been reading posts and trying to grasp what this place has to offer, which is so much information, it's unreal, in fact, it's brilliant and i will absorb everything, if it takes forever, i will pursue this. I'm new to the backstage of the web, i'm enjoying it,though i'm starting to feel a little left out, because i know no one in this industry, or even sector, i'm finding it hard to compare my situation with any others. My affiliate pad that i have chosen around online bingo recieves just 10 visitors per day, these are non target individuals i'm sure. I have just began an SEO campaign with a very decent man indeed and his work is stone proof, i have good positions for some keywords and more pages are going to be optimised over the next few weeks and months. My question is this, am i right to be expecting such low traffic for an early website, it is three months old plus, are there ways of working out conversion, i had heard it is 1 percent, that means a 100 visitors, one will convert as a customer, is this right. Any Advice would be highly regarded, thankyou world, wonderful digital point world. James http://bingoboots.com/
10 visitors per day is a little less for 3 months, but i guess your going slow because your learning alot while going through the process. It always work really slow when you do it for the first time. Soon you'll be skyrocketing and sharing your stories with us here on DP.
1% or 1 in 100 is fairly low. Probably more like 2% would be realistic. As your seo campaign, how can you say you have good position for some keywords if you are only getting 10 visitors a day? Either you have no position or you have crappy keywords. You may want to rethink your strategy.
