Is there a way to search only within forums?

    Hi.
I'm looking for a way to search for 'product X', and limit the search results to forum-threads where 'product X' is mentioned. It would be a convenient method for finding people's experience with a product or service without the serps being filled with mainly sales pitches from commercial sites.

I hope someone can give me some tips on how to make this work.

If I could search within the results for 'product X' for pages with 'forums' or 'forum' within the url, that would be a start. But I can't find this 'search within results'-feature. I seem to remember seeing this feature in Google serps, has it dissapeared?

Maybe someone knows of another SE with this feature?

Before anyone suggests using omgili.com: That SE doesn't help me because it only seems to search a limited list of forums and when I search in my language (dutch) I don't get many results.

i think you can forum name like "vbulletin" or "ibp" at the end of your "product x" . all forums include this term
