I have only be able to come across blogs and Google info that shows how to get Google to recognize breadcrumbs. However, I believe it's hurting our rankings in Google. Does anyone know how to tell Google not to use breadcrumbs, but the URL structure instead? I'm dealing with an extremely large site that gets 1.9 Billion PVs and 70 mil uniques a month. Thanks
In the case of search results is difficult to avoid bradcrumbs, especially for websites that have a first position and Google just selected pages which shows after the main search result. Practically it is not possible to remove it. The only way out is to write to Google and hope that someone will correct this manually. This is my personal opinion based on experience.
