Is there a way to limit forum sections where will CPC text link ads be displayed?

I don’t like the fact that my CPC text link ads can be displayed in threads that are very questionable in nature and can show my CPC text link ads in bad light!

This is especially true for forum sections such a cheap stuff, etc. There are some threads (usually old) that contain keywords I bid on and those threads were started by (nowadays) banned users.
Users probably banned for reason of offering their questionable content in those threads.

I don’t want my CPC text link to be displayed in threads stared by banned users and/or in forum posts or replies posted by those banned users.

There should definitely be an opinion in your ad system to opt-out from having CPC text link ads displayed in posts created by banned users!

I am now testing the waters with some credits. But I am planning more massive campaigns here at DP, but the fact of my CPC text link ads being displayed in threads or replies posted by banned user(s), discourages me a lot from this intention!

It's not possible to fine tune it to that degree unfortunately since doing it that way would require a query to the ad system for every post (would make things terribly slow)... 20 queries to the backend to display a thread with 20 posts showing on the page just isn't practical.

This is really unfortunate that such filter cannot be implemented in your ad system.

Can at least be filter(s) like "Areas To Run Ad" implemented for text link CPC ads?
Similar "Areas To Run Ad" as for CPM banners?

So I can at least filter forum sections with most questionable content and lot of banned member's posts – such as cheap stuff section, etc.

I don’t see any possibility to filter it by "Areas To Run Ad" now.

No, it's not possible since the filtering is internally done on a per post basis, not a per post/area basis (internally it would need to generate keyword groups of every possibility in that case, which just isn't practical from a required resource standpoint).

Hmmmm and what about allowing users to specify at least also exclude keywords per CPC ad? Exclude keyword(s) list will not allow display of CPC text link in each post where any of exclude keywords are located. I believe this mechanism should be easy to integrate to your systém and in should not consume many resources. But it will solve the problem (for me this is crucial problem) with CPC text link ads being dispalyed in threads with questionable content which can show my ads in bad light!
