Is there a way to convert from Powerpoint to an AVI or SWF?

    Hi,

    I would like to convert a *.ppt to a *.avi, or anything that is YouTube-able. Can anyone recommend a process or software to do this, without damaging the quality of the final file?

    As far as I know Powerpoint doesn't have an option to export to avi/swf. However.... Camtasia (screen recording software) has the facility to record PPT presentations. You can then get Camtasia to export to a variety of formats (avi, mov, swf, flv etc).

    As an aside, I don't think Youtube allows the upload of SWF.

    You can try for it VisiPPT. It's easy program for converting ppt to avi.
