Is there a way to block Google from searching parts of a page?

I'm working on improving my SEO and trying to optimize my site keywords a bit. Trouble is though the bulk of the text on my page is horoscopes and they change every day so I think that's probably going to dilute any keywords I try to work into the page. I was able to block Adsense from that section, can I block Google? Or any major search engine for that matter.

No. You can block a whole page but not part.

Yes, it is true, you can block whole page or whole directory only, but not parts of the page.

You can do it programmatically, by checking user-agent in the http request, and if it google, don't show specific content. But this is not recommended, since that way you can create content for visitors and content for SE.

Easy to do, place the content you don't want to be crawled in a frame. They don't crawl frames.

There's an idea. One thing I just thought of though, if I isolate the horoscopes will Google then think I'm not updating the page and lower my rank?

Yup, frames is the only option.

encrypt it? Maybe use a .jpg of the page so google considers it as an image not text?
