Is there a way that I can see regional ads of another region?

    We are an ad agency with 100+ adwords clients. Some of the regional campaigns I execute, are in regions other then my own. Occasionally i like to do some searches just to make sure my clients ads are showing as I want them to be but in a regional search, if i am not in that clients target region, i cant see the ads. Is there some sort of a proxy program that I can go through that will somehow trick (not a deviant thing) google into thinking my IP is in the targeted region of the ad so that I can make sure everything is showing properly. Any help would be much appreciated :)

    3 methods:

    1) Use a local proxy:

    to target Us for example use this proxy

    www.proxymod.com/index.php/010110A/http/www.google.com/

    (turn on block pop ups to avoid a lot of trash)

    You would need a different proxy for each different country



    2) use a local google country like:

    www.google.co.uk for uk
    www.google.com.br for best place to leave :)
    www.google.co.jp for japan

    not all countries are available


    3) use sponsored search link parameter

    a) Go to

    http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks

    b) type in the keywords and press search

    c) add to the browser in the end the country code like for example &gl=us for USA end search again

    AFAIK you need to search keywords first and enter the country code and search again - also notice that this is a sponsored search and it show only the sponsored search on the left of the page.

    thanks for the response unfortunately I think I didnt make myself clear enough. I need to target different US areas. For instance we are based in NY but need to see regional ads showing in california that are regionally targeted only. Thanks again,.

    sorry, you mentioned "regional" and I missunderstood you.

    In this case I don't have a direct response for you.

    But you could maybe research from the methods that I provided depending of what kind of information you want.

    Regarding the Proxy method I think that would be hard due you would need to find a proxy running exactly on the same targeting city.

    I would research is exist some kind of parameter like &gl=us for sponsored search or even Google.com Search but for regional Search.

    Another method would try to do obscure methods like trying to producing fake ips but this is very hard to do.

    Try contacting support - a lot of people already asked this here and probably they have some standard answer for this there.
