Is there a trick to making Windows Live Tiles actually work?

    It's not a big deal but there seems to be something wrong with the way I have Windows 10 set up. On this, and an earlier pc, I'd see the News Live Tile pinned to the start and it would be promoting a news story that usually can't be found anywhere in the actual app.

    Is there something I need to change to make it work or is it a cool idea they couldn't make work?
