Is there a torrent tracker that doesnt need Shell access?

    Is there a torrent tracker that doesnt need Shell access, because ive had trouble trying to afford vps in order to run my torrent tracker, so i was wondering if theres a alternative for a torrent tracker that maybes uses php instead of compiling through shell, if you no what i mean ssh access

    what ive been using is xbt tracker is there a alternative?

    I didnt get you.. i've seen countless torrent scripts / trackers that work without any cmd or shell involved? its all just php, mysql.. google a bit..

    A real torrent tracker needs it's own process to run in the background. I doubt any shared hosting allow you to do this.

    Torrent trackers do not need to run any processes in the background nor do they need shell access.

    Most torrent trackers run on PHP/MySQL, and there are some which run on PHP alone (using files).
