Is there a tool that will list variations of common words?

I hope I can explain this right...

I have a photography site, and I know that some people refer to pictures as "photos" while some refer to them as "photographs" "snapshots" "pictures" "images" and so on....

Is there a tool that is free (preferably) that will list variations of common words, such as those? It would really help me out in my SEO efforts. We have had visitors from 70 countries, so this is quite important, and very worthwhile.

It would be really great if it would list them by countries as well, but that is quite a longshot ;)

Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer!

    A thesaurus?

    Using the tool at thesaurus.com

    Entering photograph, I get:
Kodachrome*, Kodak*, blowup, close-up*, image, likeness, microfilm, mug*, negative, photo, photostat, pic*, picture, pinup*, pix*, portrait, positive, print, shot*, slide, snap*, snapshot, transparency and others.

You can then try witht he word 'snapshot' and get more choices.

Some of these may be more relevant than others, of course.

    Hope this helps....

Thank you for your replies everyone! :)

I knew about a thesaurus, but I was hoping that there would be a tool out there that would list common words by nationality, so it would be easier to target the different countries, such as...

In Australia, they call it _________
In Europe, they call it _________
In Denmark, they call it _________

    and so on.....

Thanks anyway for your time, and have a great weekend!

You could use a free online translator.

I enter the following to translate from English to German:
    photo
    photography

    and I get:
    foto
    fotographie

    In Spanish: photography is fotografia
In Dutch it's fotografie...and so on.

There's a free translator you can use at:
