In my experience, it's not to difficult to get a site to PR4 in a few months. But cracking PR5 and above seems to have a time-based component. Have any members cracked PR5+ in under a year?
wow if you know how to make PR4 under a year ,I think you must have a talent worth thosand dollar, however to get PR5 to go above I think beside link it has more then year to consider,I have my friend site that now PR5 and after 2 years his site is not moving from the rank,I think it not about time
one of my main site went to PR 5 in 6 mths .. but thats after doing an extensive link building, and launching a link baiting campaign. But since then (2 yrs) .. PR 6 is a holy ground!
Check out the domain age and pagerank of the site in my sig. You can send the thousand dollars to my paypal account Maybe a "satisfactory" pagerank (one click higher than where one is now) is a chimera like a "satisfactory" salary (10% bigger than what one's getting now). I've posted this article: http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors ...before but I keep going back to it because it's so meaty. Site age and link age are flagged as important factors.
Its really hard to tell since PR are based on so many factors. Some get it in few months and some have it for years. I personally don't get PR5 to my handled site but PR4 is definitely yes!
I'd rather have high serp ranking with pr1 than having pr6 with no traffic. I've seen many websites with pr5 and pr6 but for main keywords they're nowhere to be seen in the search results for their main keywords.
hmm, it's really hard for me to get even PR4 in 6 months. I guess I need to know more about link building.
I don´t think is time based, is all about links, PR 5 is much much harder to get than a PR4 but harder in the way you need much more quality links that you need to wait time...
You really get to pr4 in a cople of months? That is impressive. I think it does take at least a year, on one of my older sites i hit 4 then nothing. Of course it took longer than a couple of months
I personally have never achieved a PR greater than 3, but for one of my competitors, I saw a PR 5 within six months. I checked the date when my competitor registered his site and within 6 months, he got PR 5.
I think there is some bars which google try to follow while giving pr >5 to the sites. Although I have found some spammy dropped domains which are still pr5 after 3 pr updates, all are full of links
There's no time limit to get PR5 or even higher. It depends on some factors which is used to determine PR, and it's totally in Google's hand.
hey can you all just crack how your get Pr 4, i am working hard and still at PR 2 only any suggestion pls
