Is there a site that will check websites to see if Google banned or penalized them?

    I was wondering if anyone knows of a webmaster tool site that has a script to check a URL to see if it would be a negative influence on serps or positive as far as building links. I.E. to ensure it hasn't been caught breaking tos, laws or have other blacklist issues.

    If I understand your question correctly, one needs to know the exact criteria used by google for serps, to be able to built such a script.

    Even if one did manage to do it for once, since google changes its algorithm quite too often, it would be difficult to exactly mimic its actions by anyone...every time.

    I was more referring to the idea of tracking it after it happens, not keeping up with google's top programmers.
    So, I guess it would need to be something of an alexa scale that monitors all sites, their SERPS and if they suddenly disappear from serps...?
