Is there a service that allows merchants to change monthly subscription amounts?

    Hi guys,

I have a couple of payment processing questions and I would appreciate any help I can get,

    1. Say I offer a subscription service but the service is reduced at some point of time. Can I change the subscription amount automatically (down of course) without having to recieve further input from the customer?

    2. Also if the subscription service increased is it possible to have a simple input from the client that will up the amount paid (like upgrading hosting)

    3. What if any payment processor would be able to complete the above tasks

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Adam

Well, first it depends on which payment proccssor you are using. Is it paypal or authorize.net? Big differences, but I think in most cases you would have to cancel them and try to get them to buy again. I suggest you just run the promo anyway and start a new product lineup under your processro for the clients on the reduced plan.

Yes, there is no such services. You have to activate the new subscription payment.
