Is there a SEO guide that I can read and learn? I am looking to start a new site and I will be doing SEO myself, so any information would be great!
I would read a few different seo tutorials. Try seomoz.org for starters. Then just search Google for a few other tutorials. Each tutorial will be based partly upon theory. So some of it might not necessarily be 100% accurate. If you get a few experts' point of view, then you get a better understanding of which theories are more likely to be true. Each tutorial will teach you different guidelines, tricks and techniques.
That is good.. also you can start reading in the DP forum too... it is also a great source for learning SEO.. also you can put your questions by starting threads.
hello you learn fist step of google and search for seo keywords for google so you see more seo site so learn seo site.
seomoz.org indeed. You can also take at Aaron Wall's SEOBook at seobook.com Besides that their are plenty of free sources to learn it. You just have to search for it and this forum is a good place to find these resources. Besides the freebees there are also seo courses like SEMPO and searchenginecollege.com which I am doing now.
Go to Google and type "SEO free tutorials" or "basics of SEO" in search option. Hope this helps you better!
Well you can start with my blog if you want http://nbridges.com/blog/ (sorry for being so forward) otherwise I will advice you read SEOBook by Aaron Wall. SEOMoz and other web forums are also good. Honestly I don't think you can just learn it like this. The cycle is like this - Read - Try - Learn - Read ....
Yes I'm agree with genuineseo. but i would like to suggest you can search different-different blog related to seo techniques that is help full for you
My humble advice is to follow the previous posters advice. More over you can look for new articles on new blogs including mine. Apart from this, daily read at least 10 posts in SEO section...
Webmasterworld.com, probably a forum that has a higher reply rate of which the person knows what there talking about. I'd suggest for you; reading, testing, reading, testing and so on. Without your own testing, it's pretty pointless.
