I am a carpet cleaner in NJ and expanding into NYC... My site ranks well in NJ

    http://www.aboveandbeyondcarpetcleaning.com/NYC/Carpet-Cleaning-NYC/carpet-cleaning-nyc.html

    aboveandbeyondcarpetcleaning.com/NYC/Carpet-Cleaning-NYC/carpet-cleaning-nyc.html

    as seen above:
my idea was a /NYC/ folder
    then a /Carpet-Cleaning-NYC/
    folder then the actual webpage...
thinking that I could get these keywords into a url.. I want to SERP well in keyphrase "carpet cleaning NYC"
any info would be good... thanks..

well I guess there is no advantage using folder, but there is disadvantage for it... it make more time for google crawler your site more, and it will need long time to index the site/page.

the more deeper the page is, the lesser is the chance of top ranking.. However, upto 4 directories can be used.. NOT MORE THAN THAT !! If u can keep em in the root, it will be gr8 !!
