Is there a script to manage this? Partial article on main page and rest on own page.

Is there a script or way to make articles only show so much on the main page and have the whole article on it's own page? Like the way blogs are usually displayed. I know I could just use wordpress or something but I have my own custom coded site and would like to just be able to install a script to manage this.

Snews was the first things the came to mind reading that. It does allow you to have articles elsewhere and a partial bit show up anywhere else (any webpage actually with a simple insert)

I do want it in php but I can't code it myself which is why I'm asking if there's a script or some simple code I can add to do this. I do know how to work with mysql and some of php. I don't know enough to make the code.

    - You can pay someone to code it ;)
    - or try to see something related that you can just copy-past

    Good Luck .
