Is there a script (or program) that will check links for "banned" or "bad neighborhoo

I was wondering if there was a way to check all the links in my search directory automatically, and spot "banned" from Google or "bad neighborhood" sites so that we may delete them?

    Thanks, RonMo

Nice little program, but somewhat time-consuming, if some talented programmer could automate the process, say.. start at your directory home page, spider all link catagories, (staying on domain) check each and every link on your site, then report back to you the bad ones. That would be a tool I would buy. Any talented programmers listening? :D

Well funny you just mentioned this. My friend has an exact application that is in beta testing right now, and does exactly this.

Spiders every page of your domain, checks all external links from all pages. And returns PR value of each page to see if they are N/A or otherwise. Also returns Alexa rankings

In the future they will be adding functionality to see if you are indexed in google etc etc.

Who else would be interested in this? As I know they are looking for market research and basically how many people are interested in a program that does this.

Oh yeah, it also tells you the page that the link was found on too, aswell as the anchor text of the link, and the link url itself.

Well I'll have a chat to him later, he is a member here and will probably make a post about it, also I know he is looking for feature requests etc etc.

And beta testers that are willing to give a testimonial :)

    Count me in, too.

Brad, since I've been using SEO Elite and Linkmetro, I'm making good money with adsense due to the ranking increases.. I used a lot of the tips in your newsletters too, I don't think I would be able to say this if it weren't for your services.

    Thanks.. ;)
